Benchmarking contradiction detection and resolution in multi-document AI knowledge systems
A democracy reasons across thousands of documents that do not agree with one another. Reports contradict records, testimony contradicts the press, and an AI system that reads them all will usually average the disagreement into a confident, wrong answer. This project builds the measuring stick: a benchmark that scores how reliably a knowledge system detects contradictions across a multi-document corpus, and how soundly it resolves them once found.
